High and ultra-high pressure water jetting applications can be widely utilised as a diverse and eco friendly way to clean and prep.

Waterblasting can be used for:

  • Surface preparation for structural integrity testing
  • Pre-shut cleaning of structure and equipment
  • Surface preparation of floors
  • Partial removal of deteriorated concrete
  • Concrete demolition
  • Exposing corroded reinforcement bars
  • Roughening concrete surfaces
  • Raking out joints
  • Widening cracks for refilling
  • Unblocking crushers
  • Clean bins and chutes
  • Removing coatings and residues
  • Removing paint and rust
  • Removing and Preparing floor surfaces

High Pressure

Utilising a pressure pump, large volumes of water, a specialised lance and nozzle assembley (and in some cases an inhibitor to prevent flash rusting), high pressure water jetting is greater than 20 500 kPa but less than 172 500 kPa, 3,000 to 25,000 psi.

Ultra High Pressure

This utilises pressurised water from 172 500 kPa to 257 800 kPa, 25,000 to 40,000 psi (or higher). Higher pressures clean much more efficiently and are better able to remove tight rust and paint.

Abrasive Injection

The ability to remove tight paint, rust and mill scale can be much improved if an abrasive is injected into the water stream at the nozzle. The quality of preparation can be improved and profile is imparted to the surface.
